Last night ASMALLWORLD and NET-A-PORTER.COM co-hosted an intimate soiree in the penthouse of 333 West 14th Street, New York, to give special ASW members an opportunity to shop the latest fashions from Fall 2008 and Cruise 2009. Hosts Ferebee Bishop Taube, Coralie Charriol Paul, Jessica Joffe, Vogue's Valerie Boster and ASMALLWORLD's Sabine Heller mingled with guests as they browsed the racks of designer labels, including Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Phillip Lim, Miu Miu, Rik Owens and Christian Louboutin. Guests enjoyed NET-A-PORTER.COM's personal shopping service, an opportunity to try on the wares and receive a 20% discount.

Looking casual chic, Ferebee Bishop Taube came straight from the airport and was chatting on the balcony with a striking Richard Chai suit-clad Jessica Joffe. Other guests, including Serena Nikkhah, Dalia Oberlander, Melissa Skoog, Hud Morgan, Lily Rafii, Sulaika Zarrouk, Guini Suarez, Greg Brody, Justin Daly and Annie Taube, dined on mini truffled grilled cheese, tiny seared tuna bites and blinis with caviar and crème fraiche. A special cocktail of Christiania Vodka, ginger and lemon made a sweet addition to the experience.
Wearing a linen Maria Cornejo jumpsuit, Sabine Heller chatted with Valerie Boster, who was wearing Thakoon, about this season's runway favorite. "Jumpsuits are definitely becoming something of a trend, both last season and this season even more so. It takes a certain woman to wear it well – the more confidence, the better," she added.
The Brit contingent – actress Katie Carr, jewelry designer Carolina Barbieri, stylist Frances Tulk-Hart, ANOTHER Magazine's Harriet de Jersey and Jessica Joffe (along with half the party) – enjoyed the catch up and retail therapy before heading downtown to Leona Naess's album release at the Cake Shop.
