How are any Fashion Week parties going to beat last night's amazing selection? Kanye West at the Boom Boom Room, just about any A-lister who's ever worn Chanel at their Soho Store opening, and the official first night of what we're expecting will become the next "it" spot.

Here are the basics of what happened last night in New York:
The Chanel Party (Store Opening)
Go Here For Our Full Post On The Chanel Party
Who Was There: A listers! Sarah Jessica Parker, Claire Danes, Diane Kruger, Liv Tyler, Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson, Chace Crawford, Daphne Guinness, Courtney Love, Byrdie Bell, Crystal Renn, Karl Lagerfeld (obviously), Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha, and Alexa Chung, who DJ'd.
Other Details: They had a virtual graffiti wall, where guests could take "paint cans" with LEDs and tag the walls. MORE PICTURES HERE.

The Don Hill's Reopening Party
Go Here For Our Full Post On The Don Hill's Party
Where: Don Hill's (West Village)
Who Was There: Nur Khan, Waris Ahluwalia, Jeremy Piven, Genevieve Jones, and a sea of people in leather.
Other Details: The open bar was only tequila, the crowd was disaffected, the performance by the Black Rebel Motorcycles was "seizure-inducing". (This is all a good thing--we're calling Don Hill's as the next hotspot.) MORE PICTURES HERE
LnA Fashion Week Party
Who Was There: Rebecca Minkoff, Paul Johnson Calderon, Andrew Mukmal, Patti Smith, the downtown counterparts to the fashion editors at Chanel.
Other Details: Gang Gang Dance performed, and they gave out free cigars.
Naomi Campbell's Blackout Party
Who Was There: Naomi Campbell, Ice T, Coco, Tyson Beckford
Other Details: The party was to celebrate Naomi's 25th Anniversary in the Fashion Industry.
Heatherette After Party
Where: Whiskey Blue at the W Hotel
Who Was There: Richie Rich, Ellen DeGeneres (at the show), Tinsley Mortimer (at the show)
Other Details: Richie Rich's Heatherette show got everyone talking last night when surprise guest Ellen DeGeneres closed the show. But party, unfortunately, was a little less successful--no open bar, and without explicitly passing overt judgment on entire states, let's just say some attendees were less than happy with the guest list.
The Re-Opening Of The Boom Boom Room
Go Here For Our Full Post On The Boom Boom Re-Opening
Where: Top Of The Standard
Who Was There: Kanye West, last minute replacement for Justin Bieber? (Just kidding.)
Other Details: Billed as the big re-opening of the Boom Boom Room (it's been closed all summer), the place seems much the same as it did before--same decor, same A-list crowd, and same unassailable cache. Is another venue gonna knock the Boom Boom off its pedestal this season, or is this really the crown jewel of New York nightlife?
