It's been a long week of back to back fashion shows for me and if there was one place that I could rely on to chill out in between all of the insanity, it was the W Lounge, backstage at the tents of Bryant Park. Besides the DJ, a stocked open bar, sweet treats and lots of goodies courtesy of Bliss Spa, you find yourself not mingling amongst socialites and stars.
Stopping by the lounge this afternoon was Socialite Tinsley Mortimer and her sister Dabney Mercer. W Lounge Manager Kris Norman is there to make sure you are well taken care of along with the well dressed staffers. Hanging out today I happened to run into budding fashion designer Moneysha Walker, the W Lounge is always her first stop before attending the shows and I can see why, where else can you get away from all the insanity that is The Lobby without leaving the tents. You have to love Fashion Week in New York.
