9. Oops, he did it again: Steven Meisel used a catwalk reference in his Vogue Italy cover shoot for the January issue the third time in a row. After having Karlie Kloss tripping and falling on the runway in the January 2010 edition, Freja Beha Erichsen and Arizona Muse paid their tributes to the privacy of haute couture shows in the 50's. His latest stroke of genius features Daria Strokous in a parody of something the Home Shopping Network would produce. Along with the accompanying editorial, the shoot is meant to create "an artistically ironic simulation of telesales programs, nowadays much in vogue in the United States,” as Vogue Italy's website informs. They even have fake phone numbers, prices and deadlines included. We hope everyone gets that. Especially the price part. [The Cut] [Photo via]
