JNBY and The Smile hosted a cocktail reception last night to celebrate the US launch of JNBY, the popular Chinese clothing brand, and the opening of their SoHo Store. The event was hosted by Carlos Quirarte and Matt Kliegman of The Smile, aka the same people who are running the door at the newly re-opened Jane Ballroom.-
The event featured a performance by singer Lissy Trullie, music by DJ Cassie Coane, and Dim Sum by Chinatown Brasserie. JNBY, which stands for "just naturally be yourself" has been around in Asia and Europe since 1994, but despite a pop-up shop late last year, this is the first time the clothes will be available in the US.
The party featured some seriously stylish guests--we already have a few contenders in mind for our end of the week "Best Dressed Guest" list...
