In celebration of the one-year anniversary of Blue Box Gallery, The Creatives Agency hosted a cocktail party at So So, Incredibly Beautiful, a stunning “live-in installation” featuring the kinetic sculpture, video, photography and apartment decor of Julio Cesar Gonzalez and Carlos Charlie Perez, produced by Susi Kenna.

Taking its name from a blue box, an early “phreaking” tool used to gain unauthorized access to telephone consoles, Blue Box Gallery aims to showcase contemporary artwork that redefines, remixes and reinterprets – in other words, hacks – conventional art-making practices.

Director and writer John Jacobsen engages America's best artists in one-on-one interviews about their personal process in making great art and a great life. Jacobsen is the director of the recent short films Arthur, winner of the Best of Fest Award, and Spinning.  He also directed the feature film Around the Fire, which premiered at The Seattle International Film Festival where it was nominated for The Best Independent Filmmaker's Award, moving on to take top prize at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.
