Styleite, Tumblr, and Tiza.com hosted "You've Got Prom," an all-adult style dance to help benefit the Lower East Side Girls Club at Le Bain. The event was inspired by Small Girls PR, who embarked on a thirty day prom dress hunt to find the latest trends, tips, and fits for adults! Some attendees kept it casual, while others donned voluminous gowns of tulle, chiffon, and satin. Take a look at more of the outfits seen at Le Bain!
The Small Girls proved that prom can be more than for swooning teenage sweethearts. Why should kids get all the fun? by switching the fruit punch for something stronger and wearing, perhaps, a more risque outfit than you normally would have. At "You've Got Prom," all proceeds benefitted the Lower East Side Girls Club, a sponsorship program that empowers young women in areas dealing with literacy, the arts, science, health, and leadership skills. Gowns featured bejeweled corset tops with flowing chiffon layered over satin, and the men accentuated their tuxedos with satin bowties in bright jewel tones.
