Last night at Cipriani at 42nd Street, Hedge Funds Care hosted the annual "Open Your Heart To The Children" gala. The cocktail reception and dinner for about 1,100 guests that consisted mostly of Hedge Fund members and finance industry workers.

The "Open Your Heart To The Children" gala is an effort to bring publicity and awareness to the Hedge Fund's efforts. The Hedge Funds Care organization is a non - profit that provides resources to fund child abuse programs throughout the Tri-State area. Their goal for last night was to raise close to $2 million.
The guests really enjoyed themselves while sipping on their drinks, and getting to know one another. It was all smiles despite the heavy topic at hand. While attendees were eating their delicious dinner, members of the Hedge Funds Care organization made speeches. The organization also awarded supermodel, Liya Kebede, and President of Fortress Investment Group, Michael E. Novogratz, with the Hedge Funds Care Award For Caring. The rest of the night, though, was spent having fun and enjoying good people and a great atmosphere.
