No more grander a lunch venue could there be than the New York Public Library's iconic Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

This past Thursday afternoon, stylishly sat under the glass dome of the Celeste Bartos Forum, literature lovers and society staples gathered for the annual Library Lunch. An elegant affair as ever, this year's event specifically supported one of the Library's world-renowned research collections, The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

A gorgeous array of round tables draped with cheerful fabrics featuring apt centerpieces of stacked books (which guests gladly grabbed as gifts on their way out), the room was abuzz with lively conversation.

Following dessert, event Co-Chair and The New Yorker editor David Remnick welcomed Grammy and Tony Award winner André De Shields, Principal Dancer at American Ballet Theatre Isabella Boylston, and Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award Winner Tony Kushner for a captivating conversation on the performing arts.
