Guests enjoyed sips and snacks during the reception at the second annual event, and then focused on meaningful conversations with mentors of their choice during the "Power Hour." [Stacy London] The event raised $130,000 for the nonprofit's mentorship programs for teen girls from under-resourced neighborhoods. Television personality Stacy London was honored as this year's "Mentorship Champion" and also served as a guest mentor. In her honoree remarks, Stacy London spoke about how mentoring does not need to be a long-term, formal relationship and mentioned Katie Couric, Oprah Winfrey and Jane Pauley as mentors who inspired her along the way. Joining her as guest mentors included actress and advocate Kelly Rutherford, Niche Media's Samantha Yanks and Full Picture's Desiree Gruber.
