On Friday evening, December 6, New York's Kindest came out to celebrate for the first ever, New York's Kindest Dinner & Awards at the National Arts Club. The evening was held to benefit Animal Care & Control, the NYC animal shelter that takes on over 30,000 homeless animals every year. New York's Kindest awards were presented to 5 individuals & groups, including New Leash Productions, Kevin de l'Aigle, and the ASPCA, who have gone above and beyond in helping the shelter fulfill its mission of rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for the homeless and abandoned animals of NYC.
Multi-platinum artist, Ann Hampton Callaway, entertained the VIP reception in song, followed by a dinner & awards ceremony.
