What started out as a small holiday cocktail and tree trimming party among friends has turned out to become quite the holiday event. Last night, guests gathered at The Phoenix for the First Annual OzParna Xmas Xtravaganza to celebrate some of Silicon Alley's hottest start-ups.
Hosted by Aparna Mukherjee and brothers Ausif and Oz Sultan, the cocktail party featured a tree decked out by Socialisting founder Lawrence Lewitinn and Jake Siegal's Samplr tote bags, filled with garlic dill chips from Brooklyn-based McClure's Pickles, gift cards from AHAlife founders Shauna Mei and Matt Wilkerson, and Hemp Hearts.
Guests drank Fish House Punch and swapped swag provided by other start-ups such as Foursquare badges, Birchbox samplers and Sundance Film Festival water bottles.
