The chicest soiree of the season is back!
After a two-year hiatus, The Glass House Summer Party is once again welcoming guests to enjoy an idyllic afternoon exploring the historic site's art-filled, lush 49-acres.
Saturday, June 11th will mark the 15th anniversary of the museum's annual fete, a social calendar favorite which sees New York's society staples don their most stylish 'Summer Chic' country frocks and flock to the charming town of New Canaan, Connecticut for the day.
Guests are encouraged to get their steps in exploring the grounds (read: flat shoes are your best bet), which currently feature a special garden installation by artist David Hartt. Pop by the Pale for a glass or two of rosé, to try your hand at some lawn games, and to view their curated silent auction hosted by Artsy of over 130 lots of artworks, design pieces and luxury experiences. Also on view will be an exciting sculptural edition by Glass House Artist of the Year, Mickaelene Thomas!
Tatami mats posted up on the Pavilion, luxurious pillow loungers overlooking the water, or a pristine patch of grass on the lawn each make for a picture perfect picnic spot - just grab a basket packed with a delicious, locally sourced lunch prepared by Elm!
But that's not all. Enjoy special performances throughout the afternoon by award-winning tap dancer and choreographer Ayodele Casel, and dance to what's sure to be an epic set by the absolute coolest person to ever come out of Connecticut, Paul Sevigny.
See you there, obviously?
Tickets are going fast, so be sure to grab yours today!
