Wielding a laughably large pair of oversized knitting needles, toting a giant knot of orange yarn, Ella Emhoff could not be missed at The Standard, East Village last night.
The model slash textile artist's first Soft Hands Knitting Club meetup was a most cozy time, with knitters both novice and knowledgeable taking a seat at NO BAR for the crafty occasion.
An avid stitcher since the age of six, Ella's taken her talent to new levels, creating large scale "knit paintings" of self portraits and still life scenes. Her skills were on full display throughout the evening, as she helped guests perfect their loops.
Jealous you missed out?
The event is set to be an ongoing program at the hotel so be sure to keep an eye out for their next date.
