Earlier this week, photographer Brian Marcus opened his show, "Malawi: Images of Progress" to benefit orphans and vulnerable children in both Haiti and Malawi. The exhibition and auction was held at the Chelsea Art Museum and operated in partnership with "Goods 4 Good"- a charitable organization with an ongoing goal to turn "excess into progress."

Guests included Kipton Cronkite, Soraya Darabi, Talia Eisenberg, as well as Malawian Ambassador to the U.N., Steven Matenje, and the only thing more "excessive" than the art, cocktails, and music was the great success of the event. The museum hosted over five-hundred guests and raised $50,000 to go directly to the causes at hand.
