-As its name suggests, Half Gallery is a fraction of the size of the average art space, but attracts such eminent patrons as
Daphne Guinness,
Chloe Sevigny, and Mario Sorrenti.
-Recently, Andre Saraiva had his New York art opening in this East Village space, the same week his club, Le Baron, opened its doors.
-Terry Richardson, a friend of Bill's, was also featured in the gallery.
-Richardson's photograph of ToeJam the Clown was the first piece of art Powers ever bought.
-Powers also co-founded
ExhibitionA.com, an online art site.
