In 2009, the L.A. Times featured a photo tour of Chait's Venice Beach 600 sq. foot bungalow. The home prominently featured blankets strewn throughout the house. His home featured an eclectic mix of of high and low end (his comforter show here is from Target). In the
article, his friend describes Chait's style:
"His design sensibility is a great combination of earthy and chic -- cashmere and barn wood -- that is warm and comfortable, but also clean and fresh."
Chait's appreciation for simplicity and comfort are reflected in both his home as well as his clothes. His cozy knitwear is often described as feeling 'lived in.'
