Will Pete Davidson Be Making An Appearance On "Bridgerton" Next Season?

Bridgerton, the Netflix hit that's spurred a modern day obsession with Regency-era style, instrumental pop covers, and saccharine romance, is decidedly not without plenty of BDE (looking at you, Duke of Hastings). But is the funny guy who actually inspired the term bringing some of his own you-know-what energy to the Shonda Rhimes-produced period piece?

Well, not quite, but he may well be on set next season. 

Much to the delight of the world's real-life Lady Whistledowns, Pete Davidson is said to be "spending time" with Phoebe Dynevor, fueling rumors that the SNL star is indeed courting Daphne Bridgerton herself.

The 25-year-old actress was in New York back in February to film a guest role on the television series Younger, and this past weekend, Davidson was spotted across the pond in Manchester, where Dynevor currently lives.  

The Duchess and Sir Scumbro? Stranger things have happened...
