Twitter War: LiLo vs. Ol' Jo

I guess Joan Rivers really misses the spotlight because she decided to give this generation's Hollywood stars a little piece of her old and wise mind. After Lindsay Lohan's court appearance, Rivers thought her commentary would make Lohan feel even better about her guilty verdict.

For a couple of hours on July 9, it seemed like the younger, spunkier, and meaner version of Rivers resurfaced...or took over her Twitter account.

She tweeted the following all within the same day:

@ Joan_ Rivers Lindsay Lohan said she wouldn't mind being under oath because she thought Oath was a  Norwegian ski instructor.- 1:57pm

@ Joan_ Rivers Lindsay Lohan is so dumb. Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge.- 2:38pm

@ Joan_ Rivers Lindsay Lohan had "Fuck You" painted on her nails. What people don't know is that the judge had "Eat me you party skank," painted on hers."- 5:14pm

...and then Rivers returned to herself and her world. Back to promoting her new documentary "A Piece of Work" and her appearances throughout the country. Apparently Lindsay and Joan aren't friends because Lohan wasn't tagged in any of these tweets and it took a couple of days for Lohan to even see them. But now the Twitter wars have begun with lindsaylohan on the defense (again):

So maybe LiLo got more attention for something as stupid as drunk driving and a "fuck u" manicure, but really Ol'Jo Rivers act your age. Although you're not the headliner on E! News, your documentary has gotten 92% on Rotten Tomatoes and a praise from the New York Times.
