Before she became a world-renowned fashion designer, Vera Wang was quite the figure skater. When she failed to make the cut for the U.S. Olympic team, she turned to fashion. She says she finds a lot of what she had in figure skating in designing. Aside from designing gorgeous gowns, Vera Wang also went back to her roots by designing ice skating outfits for Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan. [Photo via]
