"The Frog King" by Adam Davies
"The Frog King" continues the recurring theme of disillusionment among the educated and privileged, mid-20's New Yorker, this time in the form of protagonist Harry Driscoll. The story revolves around his dwindling relationship with the love of his life, his tepid attempts to win her back, and a series of antics at his publishing house job in between. The quirky story is likely reminiscent of people you actually know, which makes Driscoll's prolonged transition into adulthood all the more engrossing.
