So this one's not for me, it's for you! If none of my other books got you, this one will. I have recommended this book to everyone I know since finishing it. It's a quick, easy afternoon read, and the perfect book for an anxious time, like, I don't know, this potential apocalypse.
Gary Janetti is hilarious - he was a writer for Family Guy, and was the Executive Producer of Will and Grace. But this story is about everything before he ever got a proper job. About his time growing up gay in Queens, and the many years he spent in New York during his 20s genuinely believing that the best way to achieve his dream of being a television writer would be to take a job as a bellman at a trendy hotel.
