There are people who spend Sunday nights resting at home, catching up on their DVR queue, doing laundry, steeling themselves up for the week ahead. And then there are the people who spend Sunday nights getting trashed at Goldbar.-
Friday and Saturday nights are amateur hours. For the hardcore New Yorkers for whom two weekend nights are not enough, Sunday is the new Thirsty Thursday; a night perfect for drinking and dancing, minus all the annoying bridge and tunnel people who invade the city on weekends.
Last Sunday, DJ Marshall Barnes and DJ Sinatra did sets at Goldbar, and if you think this led to a mellow night of sipping a beer while listening to some good music, think again. The tequila came out. The freak dancing came out. The alcoholically induced bisexual tendencies came out.
Sunday nights. Worth the Monday hangover.
