Other Cosmetic Options

If you think it's time for something a bit more hardcore, there are plenty of no-downtime options. Dr. Rowe’s The Club House is the spot for men who want non-invasive procedures and complete privacy. We’d like to describe it as an extravagant man cave – fully equipped with a fireplace, mini bar, and zebra skin walls. The Upper East Side treatment center is a hot spot for C-suite and Wall Street guys looking to get Botox and fillers (obviously), anus tightening (obviously), lipo, laser hair removal, PRP, and everything in between. One popular treatment is called Scrotox – it’s Botox injected directly into the testicles to minimize wrinkles, decrease sweating and make the area look larger. Yes, this exists.

We touched briefly on fillers and injectables last year, noting the biggest trends like PRP, which speeds up the healing process for skin and hair, and Botox, which prevents wrinkles. The options are out there for everyone, and while the taboo has mostly lifted when it comes to cosmetic procedures, men still aren't taking advantage.

“Brotox is a cute marketing ploy but men are still more hesitant than women to get the range of aesthetic procedures ranging from fillers to facelifts,” says Dr. Steve Fallek, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Medical Director at BeautyFix Med Spa.

“It's interesting that men have less hesitation to get a permanent tattoo than they are to get a filler. As a percentage of patients, men still are in a lower tier than women when it comes to treatments,” he continues. “We want to change that and make everyone feel comfortable walking into Med Spas.”
