Since shit hit the fan this past October, Philbrick has been effectively MIA, ignoring legal proceedings in London, New York, and Miami. There has been, however, a few interesting developments. He's rumored to be dating Made in Chelsea reality star/socialite Victoria Baker Harber; in November, she posted and then promptly deleted a hot and heavy photo of them together. Then, in December, art journalist and a former friend of Philbrick, Kenny Schachter, posted a "Wanted" poster for the missing dealer on his Instagram. According to Air Mail, a mysterious account called @steve_irwin_pets responded in defense of Philbrick, but slipped into the first person after some back-and-forth: "It’s no big deal, I did nothing wrong and It will all be forgotten soon."
Au contraire our art world scammer, we're sure your wave of notoriety is just getting started. But look on the bright side: if you do end up in prison a la Anna Delvey, you'll surely be getting your very own Netflix special.
