Open Studios: HAKOne of the best parts of Art Week is the opportunity to discover burgeoning artists such as HAK. Not only is he a talented painter, but we were surprised to find out that the soft-spoken 18 year old is part of the up-and-coming rap group Ratking, who have played Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, SXSW, and last week's Downtown Festival in NYC. Though his music typifies the life of rebellious New York street kids, these paintings offer a deeper perspective into the young artist, and have us eager to see what's next.
