Experimenting with the limits of voyeurism and exploring sexual taboos, Maria Petschnig is an artist who transcends convention. In her second solo exhibition at Lower East Side gallery, On Stellar Rays, she presents two videos, wall-mounted objects, and an installation, all the while using her own body as both an incendiary of her art as well as a vassal to it.
