REBIND at Eyebeam
As all hardcore lit-lovers know, bookbinding is an art. While we uphold that you can't always judge a book by its cover, having one that is creatively done certainly doesn't hurt. And when it comes to the classics, who doesn't welcome a fresh reimagining? Well, the folks over at Eyebeam definitely do, and that's why they are hosting
Publication Studio and its project,
Rebind, in which 42 iconic paperbacks have been given designer facelifts. Besides browsing book covers, be sure to catch one of the special events occurring as part of the collaboration, including a panel discussion on the resilience of books in the age of technology.
An opening reception will be held on May 16, from 6-9 pm
