Opening: Elger Esser, Matthew Weinstein
Photographer Elger Esser captured breathtaking photographs along the length of the Nile, which intentionally drew from images of 19th century realist photographers. Matthew Weinstein’s opening, “The Celestial Sea,” is comprised of paintings, videos, and sculptures inspired by computer animations. Both debut the same night.
