“Specific Collisions"
Artist/Curator Melissa Gordon explores the relationship between art and the “containing architecture” of a gallery in “Specific Collisions,” a group exhibition that includes works by Edvard Munch, Max Ernst, and Marlene Dumas. The show is inspired in part by The Shining – “the repetitive maze of hallways and doors confuses, disorients and sets the ground for unexpected encounters.”
Opening: Friday, January 25, 6-8pm
Date: January 26-February 23
Location: Marianne Boesky Gallery, 118 East 64 Street
