Dumbo Arts Festival
The New York skyline will make an inspiring backdrop for the Dumbo Arts Festival, a three-day celebration of music, art, and performances, which the Village Voice
called “a visual tsunami.” Over 500 artists, poets, musicians, and even circus performers will descend upon the Brooklyn neighborhood for an extravaganza of creative chaos and revelry.
Highlights include “Superhero,” an “interactive mapping experience” where participants can obtain superpowers like flight, as well as “Tidal Voyage,” a floating sculpture garden in the East River.
Dates: September 28-30: Friday: 6pm to 9pm; Saturday: noon to 9pm; Sunday: noon to 6pm, with nightly screenings until midnight.
Location: 45 Main Street, between Water Street and Front Street, Brooklyn.
