Thomas Lail, The World We Have Lost
Thomas Lail, The World We Have Lost
Talk about a nostalgia trip. In The World We Have Lost, artist Thomas Lail reconstructs Utopia through a series of large-scale collages, pieced together by images from '60s and '70s communes. This assembling of fragments from idealized communites creates a kind of grid, or map, which seeks to find the land of the lost.
Through May 19 at Masters & Pelavin, 13 Jay Street
Opening Reception: Thursday, April 5, 6-8pm.
