Mira Schor, Voice and Speech
Marvelli Gallery presents "Voice and Speech," a collection of paintings by New York-based artist Mira Schor. Known for her contributions to feminist art history, Schor explores the canvas as a means of visual communication, and raises fascinating questions as to the existence of a collective subconscious. A series of paintings reflects on the impact of the Occupy Movement, and the metaphor of sleep as a transformative social act.
