Paul Booth Gallery is currently presenting Maria Kreyn: May You Live In Interesting Times. Kreyn’s use of graphite illustrates humanity with both emotional depth and intimacy. Named after an alleged Chinese curse, the works examine darkness but not from a negative perspective. Instead of focusing on the negative, her expressive use of light and shadow portray the passage of time, and look at the uniting factors of the human condition.
