A portal into a fantastical, flora-filled secret garden from the beginning of time? Only in Brooklyn.
This weekend, City Point's art space, BKLYN Studios, will be showcasing A Primordial Place, an immersive, multi-sensory installation created by 19-year-old artist and It Girl Selah Marley. Considering she is the daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, and the granddaughter of Bob, it's no surprise she inherited the creative gene.
Find your zen (and your 'gram) inside this literal concrete jungle of a tunnel, which is full of lush greenery, hanging moss, and blooming flowers. It's certainly a different type of botanical garden.
It's free and open to the public on Friday May, 3rd and Saturday, May 4th, from 12 pm to 8 pm.
BKLYN Studios (City Point), 445 Albee Square West, Brooklyn
