Miyako Yoshinaga: Mayumi Lake ‘Unison’
Miyako Yoshinaga presents a solo exhibition of sculptural photographic works by Mayumi Lake. The exhibition features ten “blossom” sculptures illuminated by a mirror ball. The sculptures are made with scanned images from Japanese vintage kimonos for young girls, and reassembled with other materials. Lake selects only materials that are reminiscence of her childhood.
