The Gordon Parks Foundation
The Gordon Parks Foundation honors individuals who have contributed their lives to the arts. The Foundation permanently preserves the works of Gordon Parks and other artists, makes it available to the public through exhibitions, books, and electronic media, and supports artistic and educational activities that advance what Gordon described as “the common search for a better life and a better world.” This year will launch the Foundations new archive/exhibition space in Pleasantville, New York with rotating exhibitions. The current exhibition will be a survey of Parks’ work on The Learning Tree , which is on display in The Jacob Burns film Center on the third level in the Jane Peck Gallery.
When: Through June 14, 2015.
Where: Gordon Parks Foundation, 364 Manville Rd, Pleasantville, NY
