Partygoers of a certain age, both in New York and elsewhere, hold one particularly dastardly image close to their champagne-sipping hearts: that of one Kristen Johnston, cigarette in hand, falling to her death out of an open window at a party. While it may have been an accident, the sweet irony of her Sex and the City character's last words, "I'm so bored I could die," was not lost on a fête-frequenting audience. We've all been there, stuck at a sleepy soirée where the conversation barely even reaches cocktail-appropriate. Though falling out of a window could be quite extreme, there are plenty of other ways to exit an event early, and at least make things exciting on your way out.
