Tupac's Back
1. Tupac is back! Okay, not really, but the biggest highlight of Coachella thus far was Dr. Dre's Tupac's hologram performance with Snoop Dogg. Created by Digital Domain Media Group, Tupac's hologram was a completely raw illusion, a technique that dates back to 1862. They did not use old footage or previous concerts and videos. The projection was a 2D image that reflected off of a mylar screen that Snoop Dogg stood behind. Dr. Dre has big plans for Tupac's hologram, including taking it on tour with him and Snoop Dogg and possibly Eminem and 50 Cent. [WSJ]
