Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, who previously stole our hearts in Crazy, Stupid, Love and Gangster Squad, are back again - this time with a musical. La La Land follows the story of a jazz musician named Sebastian and his struggling actress girlfriend Mia as they both try to achieve fame in Hollywood. If the idea of Gosling singing sweet love songs doesn't make you weak in the knees, we really don't know what will.
The teaser trailer for their upcoming love story, however, is darker than what we had expected; this is clearly not a sunshine filled rom-com. With no dialogue, this trailer only showcases Gosling's angelic voice singing us his new song "City of Stars" while providing a montage of dreamy scenes. Though dark, we still couldn't imagine anything cuter than Hollywood's golden boy and America's sweetheart singing duets on the silver screen. La La Land is set to premiere this coming December, just in time to make us all feel really lonely during the holiday season.
