South Beach's Anglers Boutique Resort Approved!

With the economy in the tubes, Art Basel has a significantly less populace this year. This means that getting reservations at The Delano last minute may not have been as difficult to swing! Nonetheless, I decided to take a different approach and try something new and stay at the newest boutique resort called The Anglers. We were greeted by friendly faces and shown to our gigantic room decorated with live orchid plants. The decor is home-y and casual yet sophisticated, and we were even presented with a complimentary bottle of wine.

The bed is made with quality linens and there is even an iPod dock that plays from the television with adjustable speakers for each room. Gentlemen, eat your breakfast over your complimentary shoe shine! The restaurant which opened last week is phenomenal and serves a burger that rivals J. G. Melon's on the Upper East Side.

The waiter (who actually yields from New York) says the restaurant has renamed it "the murder burger" because of it's sinful deliciousness. All in all, fantastic accommodations in what is that largest hotel room in which I have stayes in a long time. Make sure to give The Anglers a chance on your next visit down to South Beach..
