Snoop Dogg Writes A Song About Hot Pockets
Ok, ok, technically this isn't a story about marijuana. But only technically, because I'm about 300% sure that there's only one substance on this Earth that would inspire a platinum-selling recording artist and grown-ass man
to pen a song about a microwavable pastry shell full of pepperoni. In other words, it should come as a surprise to nobody at all that Snoop
Dogg Lion freaking loves Hot Pockets. How much? Well, as
we reported earlier via
Jezebel,
"Snoop is obsessed with HotPockets and makes sure he has a stash of them at all times. He is a huge fan and he decided to write this ode to them."
On pretty much every level, this is what marketing executives refer to as "perfect synergy," that elusive combination of a spokesman who genuinely believes in the product he's selling and brings his own evangelical passion to the work. Given that (as far as we know, of course), he's been doing this on his own for free so far, Hot Pockets should jump on this opportunity to hire one of the most recognizable rappers in the world. I'm pretty sure they could even pay him in
turkey, bacon & cheese on pretzel bread.
