The Taylor Swift empire cares about her hits, her fragrances, her boyfriends and her nominations, but adequately performing a classic rock song with a living legend at the Grammys does not appear to be at the top of their priorities. Or at least it wasn't at the time of the 2010 Grammys when she recklessly butchered Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" in a duet with the great Stevie Nicks. We don't know why anyone thought the exceedingly sweet, squeaky-clean pop star was a match for the dark, haunting classic about a Welsh witch, but we do know she nearly destroyed the song for us. Alongside the still truly awesome Nicks, who could've easily delivered a powerful performance all on her own, Swift mercilessly inflected her soft, cutesy Southern twang into her vocals which were off-key. A disgrace to Mac fans, and a painful four minutes to anyone with ears and a soul.
