Marilyn Monroe was one of the legendary Hollywood landmark's famous residents, always staying in her poolside suite where she loved spending her days soaking up the sun, and even posed for her first suntan lotion ad while lounging on the pool's diving board. But even after Monroe's death in 1962, her spirit found and continues to find a sense of comfort at Roosevelt despite spooking guests over the years. Specifically, the appearance of Monroe's ghost in the full-length mirror from her former poolside suite which now hangs on a wall on the hotel's lower level next to the elevators after being relocated during renovations.
