Actually, why sell this short? This might be the photo of the month, or the year, or possibly forever. This wonderful, perfect photo comes to us by way of Selena Gomez' Instagram, and your eyes are not fooling you: you are, indeed, looking at James Franco basically doing a pitch perfect K-Fed impersonation, cornrows and all. First, the bad news: there's a perfectly good explanation for all of this that doesn't involve J-Franc's ongoing artistic self-delusions or a quarter-life crisis career shift. In fact, James and Selena are starring in a new movie called Spring Breakers.
But despite our disappointment that this doesn't represent a profound psychological breakdown on James' part, the movie is from arthouse nutjob (and I mean that as a high compliment) Harmony Korine, who wrote Kids and directed Gummo, amongst a lot of bizarre, frequently awesome work. So it's worth keeping our eye on. Besides, I'd love to see more of James Franco in that amazingly awful shirt. Is that from the Keenan Ivory Wayans collection?
