Many Dodger greats and legends from the original L.A. team, including manager Tommy Lasorda, were on hand for the festivities, although Magic was out of town on a prior engagement. Frank McCourt was present, but he wisely decided to stay sequestered in a luxury box, in case the fans decided to tear him to pieces as a parting gift. On a sadder note, absolutely legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully did not make it out, as he was home sick. Get well soon, Vin!
