Chief at The Satellite

Hailing from the beachy westside city of Santa Monica, these locals are bringing their folk rock sound to Silver Lake with a Monday night residency at The Satellite for the month of April. Monday night is home to many a residency night at venues all over L.A., but our vote goes to Chief next week, so swing on by and catch this free show. If catching little indie bands at prime hipster hangouts ain't your thang, then you are probably heading to the STAPLES center to catch Rihanna performing live with A$AP Rocky. I've never actually seen either of these performers live and usually steer clear of any venue where I need to have a telescope to see the action on stage. But, seeing as Rihanna knows how to shake it and bust some serious dance moves as she belts out her always catchy hits, I'm thinking this show will definitely be something to see. [Photo via]
