DON'T Be Stupid About Getting Stupid

Hey, it's a party- we would never tell you not to have fun with whatever substances you see fit. That said, this particular party is one that's under a lot of scrutiny, as EDC's of years past have resulted in a not entirely comforting amount of deaths and serious health problems for overdosing, overheating, and overindulging partygoers. This means that you should expect a beefy police presence in and around the Speedway, and while they're not there to arrest you for smoking a joint, don't think they won't if you force the issue by getting in their faces about it. And obviously be smart enough to know that they'll be searching your bags (and that you're not allowed to bring a bag bigger than 12" x 12") and making you throw away the following: open packs of cigarettes, outside food or drink, cameras with detachable lenses, drug paraphernalia, stuffed animals or dolls, and pacifiers. So in other words, you're going to have to be more clever than that if you're trying to sneak something in. Above all, be safe, you guys. [via]
