Shojin
What would Japanese food be like without fish? That would be like a PB&J without peanut butter or a burger with no patty, right? Well, if you’ve ever set foot inside of Shojin, a Japanese vegan and macrobiotic restaurant, you would understand this crazy world we speak of in which fish is not used in Japanese cooking. In fact, you would come to learn that you can even find your favorite Japanese dishes at Shojin like a Baked “Crab” Roll and Spicy “Tuna” on Crispy Rice. And maybe even like them better than the real thing at Katsuya. Shojin Downtown 333 S Alameda St #310 Los Angeles 90013 Shojin Culver City 12406 Washington Blvd Culver City 90066 [Photos via]
