Wolfgang Puck To Open WP24 In Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles

The stakes keep rising when it comes to the highly anticipated new Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles! In addition to the promise of its customary luxurious digs, Wolfgang Puck will open up a restaurant that will span the entire 24th floor.

Of his new endeavor, understandably called "WP24," Puck said,

"I am thrilled to be partnering with The Ritz-Carlton again and to be a part of the first luxury hotel to open downtown.” Given my longstanding relationship with the city of Los Angeles, it is an honor to continue my involvement with the renaissance of downtown, especially L.A. LIVE."

Also collaborating with Puck on the project is Chef Lee Hefter, who created the Asian-inspired menu and David McIntyre, who will serve as WP24's Executive Chef. And seeing as the eats are clearly going to be exceptional, the local design firm ICRAVE (who designed Sushi Samba in Vegas and Abe Arthurs in New York) made the space equally as enjoyable by installing panoramic windows throughout the space so diners can gaze out onto downtown Los Angeles while they eat.

But that's not to say the restaurant will upstage the hotel...because it won't. The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles will consist of 123 rooms, 14 of which are suites with extensive modern decor, and a full-service spa. Something tells us even residents of L.A. will find themselves spending time there. Or wanting to, at least.
